At the time of its opening on 14th July 1940, West End Central Police Station was considered to be one of the most modern Police Stations in the world.

The new Police Station replaced the two nearby Police Stations of Great Marlborough Street and Vine Street.

As part of our 70th anniversary celebrations, we are inviting you to come and meet with us in our Custody Suite where there will be a display on the history of the station, vintage police vehicles and the opportunity for you to chat with your local police. The suite is open to the public from 3pm until 7pm and we look forward to seeing you there.
