CO-RE are inviting you to a public exhibition of the proposals for the future of Lansdowne House on Berkeley Square.
The current Lansdowne House was completed in the 1980s but has a number of significant issues that mean it is no longer fit for purpose as a modern office building.
These issues include poor sustainability credentials, a hostile design which detracts from the surrounding area, limited floor to ceiling heights and numerous cores which result in highly inefficient and poor office accommodation.
The site is also surrounded by low quality, constricted public realm, particularly on Lansdowne Row and Berkeley Square.
We are proposing to introduce a new high-quality, more sustainable commercial building which will frame the southern end of historic Berkeley Square.
The proposals will also seek to introduce a series of retail uses at ground floor, improve the public realm surrounding the site and reinstate the building’s historic connection to Berkeley Square whilst widening and revitalising Lansdowne Row.
We are keen to meet our neighbours and understand your views on our proposals prior to submitting a planning application to Westminster City Council.
The public exhibition will be held on site in the atrium of Lansdowne House, Berkeley Square, London, W1J 6ER on:
If you have any questions about the proposals or are unable to attend the exhibition, please do get in touch via email at LansdowneHouse@kandaconsulting.co.uk or by calling 0203 900 3676.
Our proposals and the opportunity to provide feedback will also be available on our website www.lansdownehousemayfair.com once the exhibition has taken place.
