Construction Noise Update from Nickie Aiken MP

Nickie Aiken MP has received a huge amount of correspondence from constituents concerned with excessive construction noise.

In response, Nickie today sent a letter to Nadhim Zahawi MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. She called on the government to advise Local Authorities to introduce restrictions on construction noise to protect residents, including reduced working hours, work-free weekends and noise/vibration free days during the week.
