Hanover Square Public Realm Improvements - Temporary road closure notification

We are writing to inform you of an upcoming road closure as part of the Hanover Square Public Realm Improvement scheme.

This closure will temporarily restrict vehicles from entering Hanover Square from Brook Street starting on Monday 25 April for approximately five weeks. The closure is required to complete footway works on the west of the Square in coordination with adjacent developments. Efforts will be made to finish earlier, where possible. All other access points to the Square will be retained during this closure.

The works will consist of excavating the existing footways and will upgrade and extend the footways with new highway paving materials.

The closure will be in place at all times. Appropriate signage will be provided on-street to provide alternative routes. Vehicles will be diverted southbound on Bond Street to Conduit Street and onto St George Street to Hanover Square northbound.
