Victory for our Pedicabs Campaign

Watch the Transport Secretary's confirmation of new pedicab laws

• On Wednesday, the Transport Secretary, Rt. Hon. Grant Shapps MP, confirmed a pedicabs licensing scheme will be included in a forthcoming Transport Bill.
• For too long, a minority of pedicab riders have caused nuisance on our roads, blared out their music and charged rip-off pricing. This will now stop under the new licensing scheme.
• Further details of the Transport Bill are expected to be announced during the Queen's Speech on the 10th May 2022.

After a long campaign, I am immensely proud to say that pedicab legislation is on the way.
