West One Consultation - now live

British Land and NBIM have launched for consultation their initial thinking on the future of the West One shopping centre and office building, located above Bond Street tube station. The proposals seek to retain the retail section and access to the tube through the basement, ground and first floors, remove the structure from the second floor upwards, and introduce a new lightweight structure with improved facades designed by AHMM architects.

The overall height of the building would increase by 1 – 2 storeys and servicing would remain on its current location on Weighhouse Street.
