Dear Members,

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Residents Society of Mayfair & St James’s (RSMSJ) will occur at 6 pm on Thursday, 18th April 2024, at the Biltmore Hotel, Grosvenor Square.

Committee Membership

There are open spaces on the Executive Committee following Rebecca Storey, Edel Kelleher, Marie-Claire Hauschildt, and Steven Fachada's resignations since the last AGM.

Mike Dunn, who served as Chair after Anne Grey's resignation, has now stood down, and Vice Chair Peter Bullen is, therefore, acting Chairman.

Any member wishing to nominate member candidates for election to the Executive Committee is requested to send the nomination in writing to the Chairman chairman@rsmsj.com by 4th April 2024.

A member seconder must accompany the nomination. Additionally, the nominated candidate must confirm that they are willing to stand.

NB "in writing" includes e-mail, the preferred communication method.

However, if you prefer postal communication, the address

appears at the foot of this notice.

Once nominations have closed, we shall be in contact with details of the ballot procedure.

At this stage, there are no resolutions to be put forth at the meeting.

Proxy & Postal Votes

If anyone cannot attend the meeting, there are two additional options. Firstly, a postal (including e-mail) vote can be requested, and also, there is the option to appoint a proxy, either by post or e-mail, so that someone can vote on your behalf. Postal votes and notification of proxies must be given to the Chairman, chairman@rsmsj.com, no later than 6 pm on 17th April 2024.
