We’ve got a couple of events and initiatives over the next month which we’re keen to involve as any residents in as possible and so I wondered if possible to promote on the RSMSJ channels?
The Team GB Fanzone launched in Grosvenor Square last week and is running until Sunday 11th August. There’s a big screen showing the Olympic action in Paris, plus food and drink stalls. This Saturday 3rd August we’ll also be joined by the Mayfair Library who will be doing free facepainting, plus other family-friendly activities and entertainment. Details available on our website and in the attached flier.
Secondly, we’re working with inclusive design consultancy, Motion Spot, to help ensure the public spaces in and around the South Molton development as inclusive as possible. To ensure the views of local people with diverse needs are considered, we’re holding an online discussion on Tuesday 13th August 5.30-6.30pm for people from all backgrounds to share their experiences. Those with diverse lived experiences ranging from disability, neurodivergence, parental status, socioeconomic background, faith etc. are encouraged to join the session by registering here by 6th August. There are more details in the attached flier and we hope to see some RSMSJ members there. We’ll also share with the South Molton Liaison Group.
