Petition to Save the Curzon Cinema, Mayfair

Posted on: 14/11/2023

The Curzon Cinema was first established with the building of the cinema site on Curzon Street in 1934, and has a long and storied history there, hosting countless premieres and events for the local community.

The lease for the Curzon Mayfair is up for renewal, and despite having security of tenure, Curzon are expecting the landlord to attempt to terminate its lease by either applying for redevelopment or becoming an owner operator.

Thie petition calls on the Curzon Mayfair Cinema’s landlord to reach an agreement on renewing the lease so this iconic art-house cinema can continue at Curzon Street for another 100 years.
