South Molton - Out of Hours Site Cabin Removal Works

Dear Neighbour,

We would like to bring to your attention that we have been granted permission from Westminster City Council to conduct out of hours works on Saturday 30th November at 7am to 1pm and Sunday 1st December 7am to 11am. We will be carrying out the removal of the site welfare cabins.

On Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December large vehicles will be brought onto the site in a controlled sequence. These vehicles will enter our pit lane, which is off the public highway. The cabins will be cleared and unbolted then lifted onto the collection vehicles by the site Tower Crane and fixed into position. Once the cabins are safely loaded onto the vehicle it will then be driven out of our pit lane and the next vehicle will be called in.

Should adverse weather conditions prevent these works taking place, they will go ahead the following weekend of 7th-8th December.

All works will be non-noisy, despite this we have plans in place to mitigate any potential disruption to our neighbours, these include:

• All operatives will be given a briefing at the start of works to emphasise the need to minimise noise.
• We will continuously monitor our on-site real-time noise levels.
• A McGee supervisor will be onsite for the duration of the lifting operation.
• Where possible acoustic screens will be put in place.
• Only works taking place out of hours will be the cabin removal.
