Regents Street Road Narrowing and Public Realm Consultation

The Crown Estate has worked in partnership with Westminster City Council to deliver this trial scheme, which has introduced over 5,000sq.m of additional pedestrian space, reduced traffic lanes from four to two, while introducing dedicated cycle lanes, as well as 332 planters, 62 trees and new seating.

As part of the trial, they are closely monitoring the scheme to understand what works well as part of a shared vision for a cleaner, greener and safer West End. They are launching a website so that people can learn more about what they’ve done and provide feedback on your priorities for Regent Street and the temporary scheme. The website is now live at: www.regentstreetplans.co.uk.

They want to learn from local people and wider users and would welcome your feedback. They will be promoting the surveys over the coming months with the wider community.
