Lighting, Special Effects And Camera Equipment

To create the atmospheric world of our fictional version of London, we will be using SFX Rainbars and will be using a large water bowser to wet down the road. For our external shots there will be lighting positions on Waverton Street, some of which will also be used to light the interiors from the outside. All cameras to be handheld.

Traffic Control and Parking

In order for us to film safely and efficiently, we have asked for a number of parking bays to be suspended to park our technical vehicles. For our prep and reinstatement days and throughout our shoot days we have requested for the pay by phone bays outside the Naval Club to be suspended. For our filming days, we have requested to suspend various pay by phone bays on South Street, Hill Street. For our exterior scenes on Thursday 21st October, we have asked for the whole of Waverton Street to be suspended, so that it is clear for shot, including all the residential and diplomatic bays. We will be providing alternative parking for the diplomatic bay on Farm Street, outside The Punchbowl pub and on Berkley Square for residents.

On Thursday 21st October, Stop/Go traffic control will be employed on Hill Street and Waverton Street. This will mean a hold for a couple of minutes, after which, traffic will be released to proceed as planned.

Access

We are aware that our filming activity may cause concern about deliveries, collections/drop offs for hospital appointments, access for the elderly, pregnant or those with young children. All access and especially emergency access will be maintained throughout the filming period. Pedestrians will be able to access all roads on foot at most times. The only time that we may ask for any pedestrians to wait would be during our filming hours if we are in the middle of a take, for a few minutes.

We will have a 24hr presence with our security team who will be happy to help any residents with any questions or queries.

Other Things To Note

We are very aware that some of the filming will be taking place during the evening, so we will of course endeavour to keep noise down; including all crew using walkie talkies with earpieces and limit noisy machines/vehicles working later on.

As some of our filming involves replica firearms and as one of our characters appears in a bloodied state, we have of course liaised with the Met Police Film Unit who will be providing a police officer to be present with us during our external filming. We have also been liaising closely with the Westminster Events and Filming Department, which manages functions such as parking suspensions on behalf of Westminster Council. For any queries please contact Siân Hamer, City Promotions, Events & Filming Account Manager on 07817 054 978.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. For now, may we thank you in advance for your patience and co-operation with our production. So much of what the British film industry achieves is dependent on the goodwill of the residents and businesses of the areas that we film in, and your co-operation is greatly appreciated.

Kindest regards,
