History of Mayfair entitled 'Before May Fair Became Mayfair' in the
Farm St Church on the 15th of July 2025 - 18.30-20.00.

History of Mayfair entitled 'Before May Fair Became Mayfair' in the

Dr. Boorman talked how the open fields between Hyde Park and the spreading metropolis were built up into a wealthy suburb of grand houses. The story was fascinating, taking in clandestine marriages, an overflowing burial ground, and the 'Impiety and Vice' of the May Fair.
