Consultation on the Draft Statement of Licensing Policy 2026

Dear Members,

Westminster City Council has now launched its consultation on the proposed changes to the draft Statement of Licensing Policy 2026.

Our input is essential to influence shaping their licensing approach that promotes a well-managed environment while addressing issues such as crime, safety, and nuisance. WCC dedicated Commonplace link provides a PDF version of the draft Statement of Licensing Policy 2026, a clear summary of the proposed changes, along with easy-to-download maps to support the Spatial Policies.

Follow this link  to view WCC proposal and take part in the consultation. The consultation will remain open until 5pm on 9 August 2026.

Additionally, following the approval from Westminster's Licensing Committee, the 2026 Cumulative Impact Assessment has now been published. You can view the storyboard here.
