Oysho Royal Parks Half Marathon Information


The Oysho Royal Parks Half Marathon returns to London on Sunday, 11 October 2026, with up to 18,300 runners taking part to raise money for good causes.

The event will affect roads across the Royal Parks and Westminster, with temporary road closures in place to allow the race to take place. The closures have been agreed in advance with Westminster City Council and Transport for London.

Road closures

  • Hyde Park: roads closed from 00:01 on Sunday 11 October until 05:00 on Monday 12 October
  • St James’s Park: roads closed from 06:00 to 18:30 on Sunday 11 October
  • Westminster: roads closed from 07:00 to 12:30 on Sunday 11 October
  • Hyde Park Corner and Park Lane: closed from 08:00 to 12:00

Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access across the route will be maintained throughout the event. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens will remain open, although visitors may be directed to different gates.

There will also be staffed pedestrian crossing points along the route to help people get around the area during the event.

Residents, businesses and visitors are encouraged to plan journeys in advance and allow additional time if travelling through the affected areas.
